Kiva Kumbha Mela 2025

The Fire that Unites Ancient Traditions of the World in One Prayer

KIVA KUMBHA MELA 2025

In 2019, history was made when the Kiva ceremony was held for the first time as part of the Kumbha Mela. This powerful and groundbreaking event was a collaborative effort between Parmarth Niketan and Roots of the Earth, alongside other like-minded organizations such as the Ganga Action Parivar, the Global Interfaith WASH Alliance and others. It united spiritual and tribal leaders, indigenous wisdom keepers, and participants from over thirty nations in a powerful convergence of prayer, culture, and action. Building on this historic milestone, the Kiva ceremony will be held for the second time in February 2025, continuing our collective mission to protect Mother Earth and our sacred rivers, while fostering global harmony and sustainable living.

United for the healing of all the Holy Rivers of the World

A new vision unfolds:

In these challenging times, a profound spiritual effort is needed to heal our world. A vision emerged—a golden thread weaving through the five continents, symbolized by five feathers, connecting wisdom keepers from Europe, India, Australia, Africa, and South America. This sacred journey comes to the historic Prayagraj Kumbha Mela, the largest spiritual gathering of humanity. Here, the Kiva ceremony unites ancient indigenous traditions in a vortex of powerful prayer and healing, igniting the fire that unites the world. Together, we gather to protect our sacred rivers and Mother Earth, fostering global harmony and sustainability for all.
